Alegria de la Vida is a boutique hotel based in Canggu, Bali. It is an intimate complex of four, private luxury villa’s, each featuring a private pool and three ensuite bedrooms. A stones throw away from the beach, cafes and iconic nightlife, its location serves as the perfect base for exploring Bali and its neighbouring islands.

Our villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Our butlers are there to make this vacation special and convenient, including taking your shopping list and making a trip to the local grocery store to get ingredients for you. Please note that to utilize this service, you are required to provide payment to the butler in advance. The payment covers the cost of the items purchased, as well as a service fee for the time and effort involved in shopping, collecting, delivering and unpacking your items.

FULL DAY TOURS
Tanah Lot Sunset Tour
IDR 1.300.000 nett/car accommodates up to 4-5 person
On the way to catch the sunset at Tanah Lot, we will see a few beautiful temples.
First stop: Alas Kedaton Temple, which is located in a small forest where you can see monkeys in their natural habitat.
Second stop: Taman Ayun Temple, a Balinese royal temple surrounded by manicured gardens.
Last stop: Tanah Lot Temple, built high on a rock overlooking the ocean as the sun sets. If you are lucky, catch the Tanah Lot Kecak Fire dance with the Indian ocean as its dramatic backdrop.
Spiritual Wanderings in Bali

A trip for those interested in archaeology and Balinese sacred sites and spiritualism.
We will start at the mysterious Goa Gajah, also known as Elephant Cave. Our local guide will be both a storyteller and a guide through the next sacred sites like Candi Tebing in Pejeng, through a breathtaking rice terrace to Gunung Kawi, 11th-century tombs carved into stone along the steep gorge by Pakerisan River.
Last stop is Tegalalang where you will have a chance to admire and take photo’s of the shaped rice terrace views and mountains.
Jati Luwih Tour

Jati Luwih is an UNESCO World Heritage site. It is recognised for its vast and intricate rice terraces and showcases the preservation of Balinese ecological landscape. A short ride from Jati Luwih, you will reach Angseri Hot Spring and Batukaru Temple that is 2,270m above sea level.
Lost in time – Ancient Tenganan village
IDR 1.300.000nett/car accommodates up to 4-5 person
Visit one of the last ancient villages remaining in Bali – Tenganan Village. Learn about the ancient Balinese daily life, the village’s history and traditional ritual ceremonies. For those visiting in June, you can witness the annual offering ceremony, Mekare-kare, to honor the God of War and the ancestors.
For lunch, we will stop at a local restaurant to try traditional Balinese dishes. After lunch we will drive to Besakih Temple, also known as Bali’s Mother Temple for a panoramic view from the slopes of Mt. Agung.
Three Temples Tour

Our guides will begin this tour with a scenic drive through local villages and picturesque rice fields of rural Bali until you reach the Lake Bratan National Park, where you will find the first temple of the trip – Pura Ulun Danu Temple. Enhance your experience with a boat tour* around the lake (speak to our team about booking this additionally).
The second temple: Taman Ayun temple – a beautiful Balinese royal temple.
Third and final temple: the world-famous Tanah Lot temple built overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Local Area Guide
Located on the island of Bali, Canggu is a coastal village and a tourist hotspot known for its lush rice fields, trendy cafes, serene beaches, and a chilled-out surf scene.
Getting There & Around
Our villa provides fast track airport drop off and pick up to ensure you have a smooth transition straight off your flight to the doors of your own private villa. Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar is the closest airport, and from there, Canggu is about 20 kilometers away. Taxis, ride-hailing services like Grab, or local drivers are also available for transportation.
Once in Canggu, most people get around by hiring a scooter, which is the most common and convenient method of transportation. However, always wear a helmet and ensure you’re covered by insurance as traffic in Bali can be hectic.
As part of your stay with us, our villa provides a free shuttle to transport you to the closest beaches or cafes, this will require a booking so please contact your personal attending butler to arrange this.
